OUR "REAL" HORSES
Alot of people, upon touring our farm and see our full size horses, say "Oh, you have "REAL" horses too!" We like to think that all our horses are real....so we decided to add a page for just the "REAL" full sized ones. We started out with my own personal favorite and also a present for my daughter's 5th birthday with a black and white pony mare named Jenny.

Then we owned a mare who foaled out our big...kind of mischevious bay overo named Maverick. Maverick has earned a place in our heart by just being kinda silly sometimes. A bit like an overgrown teenager.

Another addition to our real horse family has been a paint tovero gelding named Max. He has a sweet disposition and is really likes to smell....everything! He has become Kayla's new project for games and he is trying to learn what he should be doing.

We owned a mare named Sweetie and she gave us the baby of our big horse family, Missy. Missy was born in 2006 and should have probably been a little more painted, but she came at midnight sooo, she is as black as the night she was born. She inherited her mom's sweet personality and she was shown in her first show last fall. Missy is at her new home with Brenda in Pisgah, Iowa.

That sums up the extent or our "real" horse family at this time. Seems like some horses come and go here, but we definately remember them all, big or small, and we truely enjoy each and every one as our special family project.
